THS announces that the Board has considered all the costs associated with creating a bust, plaque, display column, and unveiling ceremony for the new bust of Robert A. Heinlein to be permanently displayed in the Missouri capital’s “Hall of Famous Missourians”, and has set a target fund-raising goal of $14,000.00. We urge all of “Heinlein’s Children” to contribute what they can to make this honor a reality, either using the Paypal buttons on our website or be sending a check to the Society’s mailing address at 3553 Atlantic Avenue, #341, Long Beach, CA 90807-5606.

The Board has previously announced that all funds raised for this purpose will only be used for this purpose, and that the goal will either be achieved or the funds returned to the donors by December 31st, 2016.
