The Heinlein Prize Trust (www.heinleinprize.com) has agreed to partner with THS in the fundraising for the new Robert A. Heinlein bust to be displayed in the Missouri state capitol’s “Hall of Famous Missourians”. HPT has pledged to match dollar for dollar contributions made by “Heinlein’s Children” to raise the necessary funds for the bust and associated plaque, pedestal, and ceremony.

THS’s board had previously set a fundraising goal of $14,000 for this effort. With HPT’s generous pledge, this means that the fans of Robert A. Heinlein need to contribute $7,000, which with HPT’s matching funds will achieve the $14,000 total.
