For Us, The Living, page 217: "Oh, yes, why we get better men into office than we use to. I think I've covered most of the reasons. The destruction of the political power of finance capitalism was a big factor, naturally. Required voting helps -- only those can draw the dividend can vote..."

Am I right, or did I misunderstand the shift to the Republican Party?
