Dreams of antimatter space propulsion are closer to reality than most rocket scientists could ever imagine, says former Fermilab physicist Gerald Jackson.

The article mentions that Gerry Jackson and Steve Howe are about to launch a Kickstarter campaign to support the research of their company, Hbar Technologies. It'll be interesting to see what form that takes. I wish them luck.

They're both serious scientists with track records of accomplishment. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for antimatter rockets to fly, though.

Fascinating subject. Unfortunately the link was to Forbes, which won't allow you to use an ad blocker. I'd be more sympathetic with their position if the ads that they have recently served hadn't contained malware. :/ Forbes didn't do that on purpose, but ANY ad network that accepts flash adsis susceptible, so ad blockers are necessary for safe browsing.

Is there another story about this somewhere else?

Muchas gracias, Bill!
