Ain't no setch animal, especially for a topic where the Knoll Knuts can spin any faint omission, misunderstanding or misrepresentation into proof of a global conspiracy.

Actually, Jim I agree with you. I was being flip about the length of the book.
I actually own a copy and have used it in discussions with "Knoll Knuts."
Great trerm I'm going to steal it. ;)

Aside to holmesiv, The Fair was definently middle class and had several stores
in various parts of town. It went out of business around 69 or 70.

Yeah, and it does sound rather Camp Bowie-sy.

I'm afraid Jim is right. See Gerald Posner's book "Case Closed."

Posner's book did it for me - finally.

I actually did read (or scanned) quite a bit of the Warren Report - we had a complete set in our college library. However, I was skeptical that Oswald was the lone assassin for quite a long period.

In the end, the best reason I've ever heard for why Lee Oswald did it was put forth by his older brother, who said that Lee was just filled with anger that the world at large didn't recognize his brilliance, and that by assassinating Kennedy he would ensure himself a place in history. As simple - and as complex - as that.
