One doesn't need to go all the way to the Van Allen Belt. Antiprotons can be had right here in Illinois. But next month, when the Tevatron is shut down forever, Fermilab's antiproton factory (lacking a customer) will also be shut down. Kiss a ten-picograms-per-day source goodbye.
