Post The Toads Must Roll
Wouldn't it be a hoot to have a RAH parody contest? I remember an issue of Analog from around 1984 that had a wonderful send-up of Blowups Happen starting with the memorable line, "Put down that wench!" I asked Stan Schmidt years later at a con why they'd never done another parody issue and he mumbled something about people not getting that it was humor. I retorted something about "F*ck 'em if they can't take a joke," but it obviously didn't help.

But anyway, there is fertile ground here. Do we want to till it a bit?

I can confess that I have poked at a Heinlein pastiche from time to time, with various intents. More than once I considered a full-blown hoax story. For the good of the known worlds, I desisted.

(Google up Maurice Jarré hoax, if you haven't heard the news, though.)

The problem with this, erm, diversion is much like that of the Elvis postage stamp. Do we do the Early Heinlein, in which every sentence bounds philosophical worlds, or Late Heinlein...

Wait, forget Late Heinlein. There's not enough room on the server.

"Hier stehe ich. Ich kann nicht anders." - Luther
In the end, I found Heinlein is finite. Thus, finite analysis is needed.
