Post Crooked House
Those who have struggled with the tesseract house in Heinlein's story may find THIS interesting.

That is pretty cool, and clearer than some explanations I've seen. I never had trouble with visualizing the house (in unfolded form, at least) because my first encounter with the story was in an Isaac Asimov collection in which TGD included diagrams. :)

That said, my various wanderings brought me to images of this building, which has been described as the ugliest building in Soviet lands... now that I look at it again, it has a bit of an unfolded-hypercube look to it:

House of Soviets

(My interest? It's built on the grounds of Königsberg Castle, the last place the Amber Room was seen and according to some accounts, the place its remains still, well, remain.)

In the end, I found Heinlein is finite. Thus, finite analysis is needed.

Maybe the Amber Room is in there -- you just need an earthquake to unfold the building so you can get to it . . .

Hmm. Maybe the former Heinlein home in Colorado Springs was actually built in 1950 as a 2 story affair but only unfolded in the 1980s????? :D

Another nice representation of a tesseract/hypercube is HERE.

Yabut that's not unfolded. It's Quintus Teal's place after the earthquake. Hmmm. What's a good unfolded one -- I know: try a picture of Salvador Dali's Corpus Hypercubus.
