Thanks to Mike Glyer's File 770, I've learned of Keith Kato's progress report on the Heinlein bust. As you probably know, sculptor E. Spencer Schubert is creating it for the Hall of Famous Missourians in the state's Capitol.

Regarding one of several clay busts being crafted along the road to the final bronze casting, Keith writes:
"Spencer has provided the accompanying photographs of the final product, and the time-lapse movie of the sculpting process."
And if you care to watch Mr. Spencer at work, or are wondering what the clay version looks like, the time-lapse movie is available on Youtube.

Through social media, we've been asking Society members for their input on the plaque that will accompany the bust as well. Final text is just about done.

We expect a big party at the 2016 Worldcon around an unveiling, hope to see many of you THS accounts and the webpage for the official word, although File 770 does a great job of reposting as well.
