Post Economic Balkanization and Friday
The balkanization of the US in Friday reminded me of the concept of emerging megaregions in the United States.

This makes more "sense" than some of the ideas I have seen tossed around online. This shows the interconnected economic regions as opposed to traditional boundaries and old territorial claims.

I have to wonder whether the Texas Triangle shares any properties with the Bermuda Triangle.

As in there are weird lights and sounds, altered physics, and stuff disappears and is never seen again? Nah. I grew up there. It can't have been that boring when I was a kid and become that interesting now. ;)

Yeah, I've flown in and out of it twice. No problems. Of course, I didn't stay past sundown either time.

We haven't been all that cagey about the Marfa lights, though they're quite a bit west of the area the map defines as the Texas Triangle. I lived in the Dallas area 1960-67, Houston 1967-92, and San Antonio 1992-94, and never experienced anything even remotely weird.
