A label that can be posted in is great. The reality of the matter is, many cannot get to a signing with an author.Depending on the label, it is possible that it could be personalized, adding that extra touch.

I am paying to have the booked shipped to begin with; I think your note would be worth the cost of shipping it both ways.

Bill, I wanted to thank you for an enjoyable read. I finished the bio last night.

I found that I not only admired the writer, but I would have liked the man in spite of differences of opinions.

On a personal note I enjoyed the story of Ginny riding the bus to downtown Ft Worth to window shop at Christmas,
I have fond memories from the late 50s and eary 6os of just such trips. The downtown stores put on quite a show and while downtown has revived it will never be the way it was.

Thank you, Scott :D

That anecdote was, I think, pivotal to their relationship -- and Ginny never mentioned it in the 25 hours of interview I have on tape (though she did mention other things from that time).

Well, you know, Tor has done up these postcards that have the front of the book on one side and some text plus the full panel of Donato's picture of RAH on the reverse. I could sign and send those out -- I bought a plum sharpie for just that purpose. It does bleed through the book paper but does fine for the postcard. You could bind it in rather than paste it in...
As a postcard collector, I would love one of those cards!

Send me an SASE. I've got a couple hundred of them, They're still useful at conventions and such.
