And some of us have almost stopped waking up in a cold sweat about it. :D

It was somethin', though.

Tout ca change ...

The Hyatt is now a Sheraton, and the lobby has been torn to bits for redecoration. Kids (and adults) can't play in the fountain anymore. It's 106 degrees today, and we should be grateful we had such nice weather.

Five years. It was certainly a trip.

The second story walkway (on pillars) is sstill there -- it was the only route available from check-in to the elevators. Really a bottleneck with that one little elevator by the bar.

Too true. "Life is short but the years are long...."

Sometimes I still can't believe we managed it.

I don't think we could have pulled it off today.

Well, on the one hand, we wouldn't have the community split to fight; OTO, we're all getting too old for this... stuff. We also managed to do it at the peak of financial boom times; a year later, or even now... I think you're right.

We wuz lucky.

If it were this year, I wouldn't have been able to afford to go. Thanks, folks, for doing it when you did.
