AUGUST 27, 2003—The trustees of the Robert A. and Virginia Heinlein Prize Trust pledged to Mr. Alan Milner, director and chair, recruitment and fundraising committees, of The Heinlein Society, that the Prize Trust will match contributions to the Heinlein Society for the remainder of 2003 up to a total of $15,000 in matching funds.

Arthur M. Dula, trustee, reiterated that pledge at the Heinlein Awards dinner on August 29, 2003, in Toronto. The Heinlein Society raised a total of $3,400 between August 27 and September 1, leaving more than $11,000 in the matching funds pledge.
