Another Panel -- Brought to you by the Programming Staff of LosCon30 -- Don’t Miss It, Either! "The Heinlein Maneuver: …" Room: Vine A, 11:30 AM, Sunday Brad Linaweaver, J. Neil Schulman, Bill Patterson, and perhaps one or two who have been scheduled, but we haven’t been able to find out who they are. Brad Linaweaver is a writer, author, and playwright with numerous credits, well-known to local SF fans, and editor of The Heinlein Journal. Bill Patterson is the former President of The Heinlein Society, publisher of The Heinlein Journal, and Heinlein Scholar at the University of California, Santa Cruz, special collections library, where the Heinlein Estate archives now repose. He is writing a forthcoming biography of Robert Heinlein. J. Neil Schulman is an author, editor, reporter and publisher, well know to local SF fans, and leapt to notice in 1973 when he conducted The Robert Heinlein Interview. Heinlein: "Bringing It to Stage and Screen" Room: The Heinlein Suite - - Friday, immediately after the For Us, The Living reading, at about 8:00 PM Michael Cassutt, Alec lorio, Aleta Jackson, and perhaps a guest panelist or two who might wander in looking for free cheese and wine Michael Cassutt is a writer-director with numerous screen credits and a frequently published author of SF and other works. Alec Iorio is a former teacher of theatre arts, stage actor, playwright, and director. Aleta Jackson, of X-Cor Aerospace, formerly of the L-5 Society, is well known in the SF community. If you have seen her presentations on their behalf, you’ll have no doubt why she is participating in this effort. |
