Cascadia Con Mark Thursday, September 1, 2005 on your calendar. Cascadia Con, the North American Science Fiction Convention, is sponsoring a one-day Education Conference. Coping with 2005: Future Teaching, Future Thinking at the Hilton Conference Center, Seatac WA $60.00 for the Educator's Conference only Registration Fees include all materials and a Teachers Workbook, access on Thursday to the regular Cascadia Con facilities allowing you to take advantage of the additional programming, evening activities, as well as entrance into the Dealers Room, Art Show, Film Festival and Hospitality Suite. $85.00 (until Nov 30, 2004) for the total 5-day Cascadia Con, the North America Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC) including the Educator s Conference. Additional panels and workshops of interest to Educators will be available throughout the 5-day convention. Cascadia Con guests of honor include Fred Saberhagen, Liz Danforth, Marc Abrahams, Toni Weisskopf and Kevin Standlee. Educator's Conference instructors are from the Cascadia Con extensive list of program panelists, scientists, writers, editors and other professionals.
